Applications for all grants will be considered only if they are directly connected to the ministry of the Living Water Association or the ministry of one of our member congregations.
The Living Water Association provides the following Grants:
Church Vitality and Development Grant
This grant receives requests for:
- Redefining the ministry of a local congregation
- Specific new church start projects
- Church renewal projects
- Projects which will redevelop and redefine the congregation’s ministry in the form of a strategic plan

Direct Community Service Grant
This grant receives requests for:
- Seed money for emerging mission outreach
- Ministries and Programs that address critical needs, such as hunger and homelessness
- Ministries geared toward self-empowerment of individuals
- Organizations that demonstrate participation or engagement of members/Congregations of the United Church of Christ

Prophetic Community Engagement Grant
This grant receives requests for:
- Ministries that build connections and relationships in the wider community beyond the church
- Ministries that partner with others in the larger community to do the ministry
- Ministries that influence systemic change and progress toward well-being and justice for all

Continuing Education Grant
This grant receives requests for:
- Authorized ministers for lifelong learning opportunities related to ministry
- Lay persons for participation in association or conference related events
- Association recognized groups providing continuing education events in service to the membership of the association
