2021 Association Annual Meeting: Futuring Church

AKRON – The Living Water Association, Ohio NorthEast of the Heartland Conference of the United Church of Christ will be hosting their annual meeting on Saturday, October 30, from 9am-12pm. The meeting will be held virtually via zoom and begin with worship and a keynote address from author and commentator Diana Butler Bass. The Association will also provide a state of the congregations and discuss the spiritual calling for the upcoming year. Delegates will elect and install new leadership.

The theme of the 2021 Association Annual meeting is Futuring Church. The act of futuring actively views the present world as a window on possible future outcomes. Futuring watches trends, assesses situations, anticipates future needs, practices foresight, and explores possibilities. Futuring focuses on signals, uncovers patterns, looks back to look at the future, and cultivates readiness for new possibilities.
