Facilitator: The Rev. Cean James serves as the Associate Conference Minister for Congregational Development in Penn South East UCC and as Senior Pastor of Salt & Light, an interdenominational, intergenerational congregation in Southwest Philadelphia and Mt. Airy.  In 2005 Pastor James planted Grace Christian Fellowship, which merged with New Spirit Community Church to form Salt & Light in 2020.  Salt & Light is a growing congregation of vibrant worship, passionate spirituality, sound teaching, holistic ministries, social activism, and extravagant welcome.

Rev. James received his Masters of Divinity from the United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia and is a Doctoral candidate at Lancaster Theological Seminary. In his role as Associate Conference Minister Pastor James works with the churches of the conference in renewal, vitality, growth, and future possibilities
