Topic: Ministry and Burnout for Lay Leaders & People

The last 2 years of COVID have been especially exhausting for pastors as well as lay leaders and church staff. Already tired from the hard work of combating church decline, COVID demanded additional work, adaptation and a new way of being church. Come to share, to destress, to learn and meet others for support and care. For lay leaders, volunteers, and non-ordained staff.

Facilitators: The Rev. Dr. Tracey Dawson and Rev. Wendy Kidd of the Rocky Mountain Conference UCC who have developed Healthy Ministry Relationships workshops relevant to our day. They offer this workshop free of charge as a gift to all UCC congregations.

Rev. Dr. Dawson is a Graduate of Southern Methodist School of Law, Juris Doctorate Theological School 1983 and Iliff School of Theology MDiv 2009. She has served the Rocky Mountain conference in a variety of capacities including Pastor to congregations, Committee on Ministry, Staff, Board of Directors, and more.

Rev. Kidd is a graduate of Iliff School of Theology 2013. She currently pastors Hillcrest Congregational UCC, CO. She is a licensed professional counselor, a registered traumatologist, a certified spiritual director, and more.
