Regional Discernment Project

THU, FEB 12, 3PM – 4:30PM
via Zoom

Topic: Regional Discernment Project

Over the past several months, the Heartland Conference and the Indiana-Kentucky Conference have been listening carefully to clergy, laity, and regional leaders about how God is calling us to share life and ministry across our region. This “Regional Discernment Project” is exploring new ways of collaborating in mission, leadership, and support for local churches.

In this session, our conference leaders will share the motivation for this discernment work, what they’ve been hearing in the listening sessions, describe the emerging possibilities, and outline next steps in the discernment. Come learn how this work may shape the future of our shared ministry, what it could mean for your congregation, and how you can stay engaged in the process.

Facilitators: Rev. Dr. Chad Abbott, Rev. Dr. Dave Long-Higgins, Rev. Dr. Elena Larssen

When: Thursday, February 12, 3pm-4:30pm
